1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
It has come to this. As an impoverished college student desperately looking for something to drink that will make my head go ’fweeee’ for a bit, it has come to this. The days of sipping delicious Belgian Trippels have gone, until the debts are paid. I have here a shaker of Molson Dry 8.5%, poured from a huge bomber that I shame-facedly took from amongst such high-class fare as Colt45, Black Axe and Big Bear. It pours a worryingly attractive honey gold with good effervescence and little head. Smells overly sweet, some corn in there. Taste is... wretched. Chemical bitterness followed by syrupy sweetness, and none of it working. Oh god, why did I buy this.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
1.18L brown bottle, screw top. Yellow pour, thin white foam on top. Nose is surprisingly light and not full of fusels. Taste has some sweetness, corny with grains. Sweet finish. Pretty mellow malt liquor, not as rough as some.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2012 After trying a few months ago, their 10.1% version of this, I have finally found this version and the 7.5% one. I guess they bring these out for the Christmas season. Pretty close to the 10.1% version. Golden, white cap with some creamy lacing. Mild corn scent with some malt. Goes down really smoothly, no burning, just very slight warming in the finish. Wet, a little creamy, so not too dry. Malt and alcohol taste with hints of rust from the hop. Again, these high alcohol Molson Dry are better than the Labatt Blue and Black Label versions.

39.9005 ounce bottle thanks to blackipa. Awesome. Big, strong, thick, boozy, cotton candy, grape. Oh my. This one is almost a perfect malt liquor.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Found in a fine 1.18 litre bottle that you can use as a petrol bomb later, or sooner, depending on the alcohol content in these things. Pours gold with okay head, in fact so okay that it looks decidedly average instead of completely disgusting! Aroma of lemon and fermented corn. Has a soft taste of sherry with a cloying alcohol finish. Closer to rice wine than beer.
