A normal adjuncty dry beer. Perhaps a bit of fruity vomit. It was the only choice i had at the time.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 VT (134) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 19, 2011
Very similar to its sister Molson Export, yet a tad bit creamier, more carbonated and somewhat tastier. The one to select if all you have to choose from are the usual macro lagers on the market.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 VincentL (121) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 18, 2011
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 GarnotingPete (320) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 3, 2011
Limpide, couleur de paille, pas de col. Des arômes vagues et très maltés de pâte à pain, trace de boisé. Légèrement amère, aucun sucre résiduel. Courte en bouche, peu de corps. Une bière de soif à peine correcte.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 31, 2011
Originally rated July 2006. This popular Quebec swill pours a pale yellow colour with a white foamy-fizzy head and decent lacing. Active carbonation that does not stay all that long and creates a flat watery (mild stickiness) mouthfeel. As always, nice malt scent at first, then turns into a chemical alcohol spill. After the cleaning up, corn shows up. The taste is very sweet with malts and slightly dry, for some very light corn/alcohol aftertaste. Pretty light tasting overall with no bitterness. Use to give me headaches after two bottles when I use to work in a bar. Lets see how this king can does.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 czar (1053) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 12, 2011
pours a pale yellow with a disappearing white head. aroma is cereals and grassy notes. i guess it is dry, but not more than another non-necessarily marketed as a dry brew. faint malts, aggressive carbonation, light herbal hopping, light body, the usual.
