0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 Sammy (5881) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 1, 2005
An average beer for Molson. I understand that they brewed better beer 40 years or so ago. A fizzy drink with a subtle beer taste, instead of a softdrink. Bit crisp and passable with dinner that tastes. Metallic taste from can.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 OKBeer (1168) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 21, 2005
341 ml bottle. Pale yellow colour with a fully diminishing fizzy and creamy white head. Grainy and acidic aroma. Grainy and acidic flavours with a nasty plasticy and phenolic finish. Light bodied, thin, oily, and fizzy. What happened to no aftertaste...
1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Ungstrup (22906) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 17, 2005
I get frightened by the label, that tells me, that it has "no aftertaste" - how can you use this as a sales argument? A beer is supposed to have an aftertaste - I definately want one in my beer - and it better be good. The beer is yellow with a small white head. The aroma is grainy and corny. The flavor is sweet grainy and slightly corny - and as it says on the label, it has absolutely no aftertaste - it simple vanishes.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 lilannie (384) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 11, 2005
Aroma: soapy corn, a little bit of make-up counter/nail polish remover with some white grapes thrown in
Appearance: clear yellow, small, filmy head
Flavor: light, crisp, and dry with a bit of honey
Palate: smooth, slightly bubbly, and watery, corn aftertaste
Overall: for what it is, it isn’t terrible
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 3fourths (6215) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 11, 2005
Can I give points for the Fruedian advertising? The jumping action shots of attractive young people spraying each other with this yellow liquid is amusing... as is the laundry detergent logo on the front of the bottle. I had to buy a bottle since this is apparently the best selling beer in Quebec, so it’s way for me to tap into the taste of Quebeceneers... or something. The beer itself is a clear, bright Lemon Jello color, and the aroma is a decently sweet lemon, corn and handsoap mixture. Flavor is somewhat crisp, light but not too fizzy, with a sweet grain and corn flavor that turns a bit soap and more heavy on the soap on the back of the tongue, with a lingering oily finish that’s very unpleasent. Another gem from Canada, eh?

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Volgon (2696) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 8, 2005
Bottle: Clear yellow with a large frothy white head, sweet malts in the aroma with some flowers, thin bodied with medium carbonation. Forget what I said about Labatt Dry, this is a better beer.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 iambeer (255) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2005
A straw coloured, smelled like hay, tasted like manure, no too harsh a description there. I guess I admit its ok, perfer ale to lager anyway.
