COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Export is a timeless honest ale brewed with a traditional ale yeast that dates back 200 years. It is made with select crops of malted barley and Nugget and Kent hops to provide a rich colour, a fuller body and a bode taste. It has a slightly sweet, robust flavour, a fine hop aroma, and a notable ale character.

341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head and a few specks of lacing. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness. Just a hair better than other products from this brewery.

Honestly this is some bad beer. Usually, beer made with a little of corn transfer the beer from full body to a lighter body. In Molson, I think the proportion is 90% corn sugar and 10 % malt. It taste that way. Doesn’t taste anything, but artificial bubbles, little bitterness and nothing. I still don’t understand why people drink this...

Bottle. Similar to Molson Golden, but aroma and flavor are one notch less prominent. Overall, heavier in character, probably reflects the higher ABV. I prefer Molson Golden.

Pours bright yellow gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Adjunct and sweet malt aromas. Dry with sweet malt front to back.

12oz bottle poured into pint glass. Nice carbonation and light golden color. This is an easy drinking beer. Basically what I expected for a nicely priced golden ale.

Pretty much the prototypical Canadian macro beer. High carbonation, very little taste, corn syrup mostly, light bitterness in the finish. Quite unremarkable, yet very refreshing when you need "a cold one" among friends.

34.1 cL bottle in Toronto Airport. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lasting, creamy and white head. Aroma is vague grassy, light citrusy. Mild fruity, crisp bitter and vague citrusy. Bitter and mild hoppy finish.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2011 pours clear bright golden with a minimal white head. malts, some toastiness, hint of sweetness. still with a normal macro profile - light body, aggressive carbonation, light herbal hopping. also still one of the best macro on canadian shelves.
