2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 czar (2402) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 18, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2013 pours clear bright golden with a minimal white head. malts, some toastiness, hint of sweetness. still with a normal macro profile - light body, aggressive carbonation, light herbal hopping. also still one of the best macro on canadian shelves.

On tap. Straw yellow with white head. Corn syrup, macro cardboard. Yuck all the way through.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 HeistAlmighty (850) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 7, 2011
Draft at Reuben’s Deli on Rue. St. Catherine while eating a smoked meat sandwich. If there was ever a right place to drink Molson I’d hope this was it. Yeasty and bready, it went well with the sandwich, or at least it did a decent job of cleaning the palate. Better than Canadian, at least.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 ILduce (171) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 4, 2011
Canadian staple, I guess. Typical macro with sweet corn and cardboard. Well-carbonated, but a lttle watery. Better than Blue.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Metalchopz (1789) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 25, 2011
I used to like this beer in bars (when they did not serve Labatt products - so no 50). It seems to have gotten worst and worst. I buy it now when people come over and they prefer corn-swills. Pours a clean golden colour with a big white creamy head, decent retention and lots of lacing. Big corn and mild malt nose. Same thing for the taste. Slightly creamy mouthfeel (which is probably the best thing this beer has to offer). Am not even sure this is an ale anymore. Labatt 50 totally kicks its ass nowadays (in the same market here in Canada).
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 garthicus (2358) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 9, 2011
Light orange, tons of visible carbonation, large white head. Aroma: wet cardboard with a tiny amount of grass, mild plastic. Flavour: Caramel, grass, wet cardboard again. Lawnmower beer.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 RC8 (304) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 24, 2011
Decided to give it a try at a bar in Guelph having just had the only Wellington tap available.Tasted like soap. No malt, no hops, nothing. I can understand people drinking it much like I understand people drinking diet coke, but beer-wise this wouldn’t live up to any expectations. I couldn’t finish my pint, my girlfriend didn’t want it either.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 lukin (342) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2011
bottle. This is the beer my Grandma drank until the day she died. Outside of sentimental value, doesn’t have much going for it. Better than Canadian I guess...
