Molson Export is a timeless honest ale brewed with a traditional ale yeast that dates back 200 years. It is made with select crops of malted barley and Nugget and Kent hops to provide a rich colour, a fuller body and a bode taste. It has a slightly sweet, robust flavour, a fine hop aroma, and a notable ale character.

Bottle shared thanks to Matt! Pours a clear golden yellow with dissipating white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is bready grain and lager yeast. Taste is similar, less yeast and more grain. Clean and easy, not bad for mass produced.

Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear golden yellow appearance with a creamy white head. Grape drank, cotton candy, a touch spicy hoppy. Slightly metallic, light cracker, lemon flavor with a slightly bigger body than a typical macro. Not too hard to drink but I’d definitely take Molson Golden over this.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear gold brew with white head. Aroma of grain, adjunct, corn. Taste is bland grain, corn and adjunct with a bit of bitter at the end. Kind of kick myself for buying this but the ship logo reminded me of the old Heilman Special Export and I followed the impulse...

Ahh Export! ..college $2 daft nights, this beer the catalyst of many many fun nights in my youth! Nostalgia aside, this beer pours a clear honey colour, with a foamy white head. Aroma is of corn, crackers, honey, and yeasty funk. Tasting notes include corn, grains, spice, coriander, very light bittering, and a dry finish. As far as macro beers, this beer is slightly above the rest, but it is still a quite forgettable average ale.

The classic light ale. Grainy and corny with just a hint of hops. Golden color, nice carbonation...fizzy if you want to be uncharitable. Flavor is a rough grainy sweet and a subtle bitter. Body is a tad smoother than its Lager brethren, which makes it a very drinkable beer. Not going to win any awards, but makes for a refreshing drink every time. Not available for export somehow.
