2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Finhead (653) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Clear as glass, pale gold pour with a thin, white head. The aroma is typical green bottle skunk with corn and faint hops. It has a light body with watery texture and average carbonation. The taste has a mild bitterness with a semi-dry finish.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 retinadoc (53) - - DEC 25, 2011
Bottle. Distinctive slightly fruity aroma. Medium yellow color. Decent body and flavor for a mass-produced lager. Not bad. Would buy if my favorites weren’t available that night.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 dredmond (90) - Long Island, New York, USA - DEC 9, 2011
drank from 12 fl oz green glass bottle, similar to regular molson, mediocre aroma, enjoyable palette
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 5, 2011
Originally rated December 2005. I can’t believe how many people have reviewed this beer, and most being Americans. Here in Canada, Molson Golden is not really popular. It pours a golden colour with a medium white head. Retention is low, lacing is there and carbonation is also happening. The aroma is malty and the mouthfeel is smooth. Mildly bitter, with the taste of malt in the background. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Clean aftertaste and no corn found. A good 12 pack to buy from time to time.
2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 AWMiller (476) - Mansfield, Texas, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Wooo doggie that is one skunky brew when I first opened it up; but that is to be expected from some of them adjunct lagers. Not much to yak about on this brew as it is much akin to all the other mass produced beers of this style: lifeless and tasteless. It would not surprise me to find this along side other macro brews at the local bar on those $1 pint nights! That’s a pint of beer (I reckon that’s what they are passing for!) for one dollar … one dollar … only the cheap brews baring the least of qualities and damning the name of good beer are sold at these ‘specials’. None for me thank ya kindly!

Bottle at Hogan’s in Gainesville, FL. Better than alot of the macro Canadian beers, but worse than most others. Slightly sweet malty aroma and flavor.

Just a rich full bodied beer that goes down so smooth leaving you wanting more.
