Commercial Description:
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

Bottle. Sour corn malt aroma - skunky at first but fades. Golden yellow with small head. Slight sour malt flavor with a moderate hops finish. Typical macro.

341 ml bottle- Yep, it’s golden. A darker gold colour with a fizzy white cap that is gone fairly quick. Aromas of mild hops, corn and grain and some skunk, but at least the hops sorta stand out. Mildly bitter with some skunky sweetness and cardboard and grains. Almost a grassy finish, with very mild lingering bitterness.

Relative to most macros, this ones not too shabby. Though as with most, the colder, the better. A decent around the house alternative when the budget is tight.

Tin, copper and hops to the nose on this one.... pours medium-deep golden in the glass, with a diminishing head, no lace of which to speak. Dry wheat fiber in the malt, with a bleak bitterness, and not a very distinct finish. It feels medium in the mouth, but the beginning of the pull is much better than the end of it. It starts off seemingly complex, and turns into a muddy amalgomation of simplicity.

Bottle Pours a clear golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is strong skunky hops. Not very pleasing. Taste is awful bitter. Not a very tasty beer with an okay reputation.

341ml brown bottle. Poured gold-yellow. Small creamy white head, very creamy for a Molson beer, surprsingly it sticks around a while. Grainy aroma, very light fruity malt. Grain accented flavour, some sweetness. Light hops detectable in the finish with a strange apple skin like flavour. Somewhat fizzy, light bodied. Fairly middle of the road, but drinkable.
