slightly carbonated with the skunky flavor this was one of my go to brews that I have not found in quite a while. Not overly impressed.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2009 33 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada via Michigan. Pale golden colour, skunky aroma. Better taste than expected, some weak hop flavor, nice level of malt, and some decent bitterness on the finish. Strangely unavailable in Canada. :-) NPRugby11 (82), New York, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 7, 2009 Came in a green bottle with one of those humorous "Answer Honestly" labels, has a typical mega-lager scent (nothing) but has a clean smooth taste with a slight hint of sweetness at the end. Pretty good to keep in the fridge w/ dinner Onslow (174), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2009 Pour from a 12 oz green bottle. Fizzy head on a pale yellow body. Aroma of grain, slight hops, and cider. Grainy and vegetal taste with a bit of hops and sour cider. This wasn’t skunky – as it often is – and I’m guessing that the cidery flavors are the result of the budding rise of skunkiness. Overall, not bad, but nothing special. yobdoog (1431), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 31, 2009 Never thought I would rate this. I don’t like this beer. Tastes like wet dog smell and burnt ginger ale rice cakes. Derek881 (493), Frederick, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 25, 2009 I had this beer from the bottle after a hockey game. The aroma was a mix of grassy and grainy hops and some barley malt, but not particularly exciting. It was a clear yellow color with a modest white head that had short retention. The flavor was decent, and had a sour grainy effect mixed with some bitterness. It was mostly wet with mild carbonation, but decent crispness and character. Overall I thought it was half-decent coming from a big brewer. jebb12 (39), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 18, 2009 I was somewhat taken aback by the actually nice aroma of German/skunkiness, grass, grain and possibly even a fruity prune and white wine. There was a fluffy white, soda pop fizzy head with the expected translucent yellow hue of all mass produced beers. My first impression was a watery taste with some malt and hop bitter undertones. The finish was clean during the first half of the glass but the further I went on a stale corn and aluminum took predominance. By the end the aluminum was all that I could decipher and I was glad to be done. This can’t hold a candle to regular Molson although there are some good qualities to Golden.
