COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

The 12 ounce bottle poured a crystal clear, pale straw colored beverage with a small fizzy head that was mostly diminishing and left almost no lacing on the glass. The aroma was almost offensively skunky. I could smell it from three feet away. Getting past that, I was able to detect notes of toast and roasted malt. The body was medium light with lively carbonation and a thin, watery texture. The flavor started off fairly neutral, neither sweet nor bitter. Oddly, it had a light taste of bread. The finish was medium in length and the beer took on a light bitterness as it aged on the palette.

I’d rather go sober. Bad pour, bad sip, bad aftertaste. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.

Drank a few a these while watching the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes putting the hurt to the Vince Youngless Longhorns. GO BUCKS! Beers poured from the bottle bright golden yellow with a huge snow white bubbly head that proceeded to disipate immediatley. There was a faing grassy aroma. The slight flavor was light hops, malt and watery grass flavors. Little to no aftetaste. All in all, it was pretty okay... I’d drink it again.

Not much to work with here, If nothing else, a filler beer for when the beer run is happening and you really really want a beer. Bitter, almost Harsh start which milds out a bit and lingers through the finish. Light bodied, watery, almost flat, non-fulfilling mouth feel.

Not a bad beer, but it leaves you with a bit of a bitter after-taste. Canadian is better.

12oz bottle-pours a white head yellow color. Aroma is grass, funky, light malt. Taste is grass, funky, light malt, secondary hops. OK carbonation.

A decent brew as far as big beer’s go, not quite as good as Molson Canadian which is a little darker, not a sharp.
