Fizzy yellow hue with a faint shadow of a head. I had a bit of difficulty tasting this stuff because my instinct is to not ingest something that smells like this. (skunk) Flavor is horrendous, some landfill notes and cardboard with just a bit of boiled corn husk. I found this beer to be quite offensive. The appearance was the only thing about this beer that wasn’t laughably terrible. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 1, 2005 Pale bitter aroma, golden drrk-yellow in color, not much flavor, bitter-sweet flavor, light-tasting. Not as good as the original Molson. beerbill (1940), Laurel, New York, USA

I remember this stuff being like gold when I was in college back in the 70’s. Pours a clear light gold with a decent white head. Light aroma of sweet malt and some hops. Taste is slightly sweet as well with some hops bitterness in the finish. Fairly well balanced actually. Of all of the Canadian lagers I’ve had, I like Molson Golden the best. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 26, 2005 I still prefer regular Molson Canadian to this. Typical Canadian Lager. It was free, so that was good. Tastes more "mass-produced" than the typical Molson, more of that synthetic taste. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA

A local cheap booze outlet asked me to give this a try, high carbonation with a plastic, cardboard background. Grainy, cheap tasting background with little hop character. It was awful, but the shop thinks it is just right for their customers. Takes all sorts.
