Commercial Description:
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

Pours very light yellow with a fizzy, fully receding white head. Aroma of very sweet malts and stinky lager yeast. Blech. Taste is inoffensive but tasteless. Vapid wet cardboard mixed with stale bread soaked in water. Mouthfeel is fizzy if consumed from the bottle and moderately fizzy if poured into a glass. Thin-bodied, overly sweet, underhopped, and totally unappealing.

Sweet at first. Moves through dry and finishes crisp. A bit of noble hops. Buttery texture? This is an OK beer for the style. A good cheap heavy drinking beer. Much better than the other far too sweet, corn syrup tasting, Molson beers like the Ice, Canadian or XXX.

Bottle. Candian Bud, with some hops added instead of wood chips. BUY AGAIN? Probably. Less embarrassing than Bud at a barbeque.

Initial aroma is a little skunky but once you get into it its a pretty decent beer especially considering its Canadain. Defiently the best Molson I’ve tried.

pale lager with little refinement. reminds me of budwiser, its a little watery and has some bitter aftertastes "Crisp" lack of smoothness and lack of flavor are this beers calling cards. I like molson in general, better than bud/miller swill but not much.

Decent smell, a hint of skunkiness, appearance is just how the name describes, golden, flavor is good but has a hint of alcohol taste but thats because its 6%, palate is pretty smooth.

A very nice color, but not much of a head. It tastes of hops and is semi-sweet. A good beer when you are playing poker and are sick of the High Life.

Well, I took a few swigs of this and decided to stop. I think the bottle was old. The aroma was simple and boring - slightly hoppy is being generous. However, the aftertaste was sour making it an easy decision to give it back to the person who was drinking it.
