What I’m tasting is a macro lager that is pretty uninteresting. Not much aroma, not much flavor. Looks okay. Didn’t make me ill.

Canadian is better. Not much taste, bit carby, mediocre everything. Boring.

A mediocre beer all the way. Nothing about this beer stands out at all, but a large commercially brewed Canadian beer beats the heck out of a large commercially brewed American beer any day. Very drinkable, a good beer for getting sloshed, but nothing particularly appealing. Medium color, medium flavor, almost no hoppiness, medium to weak maltiness, just a beer that is decent butboring in every way. The best of the Molson beers, but nothing to write home about at all.

It’s your typical Canadian macro lager. Light gold, with a bitter. mildly hoppy flavor.

Lasting white head on a clear yellow body. Light hints of grainy malt in the aroma and flavor, as well as green apple (acetaldehyde), a light sulfury yeast, but clean, no fruitiness. Biting, highly carbonated m/f, very thin and watery. Typical macroswill

Used to be a fan in my youth. Now it’s nasty. Victim of marketing leaves it way behind Labatt.

Why is it smooth? because it is water with alcohol and a little corn flavoring. I really do not understand why some people are big golden fans. If you hate the taste of beer then that could be a reason, but really this beer is unremarkable and there are many better brews in the same price range.
