COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

Dark straw color with a tall off white head. Aromas of noble hops, grass and light toasted grains, but the backdrop has some resin and perfume. Lots of malt in the front end that make the first quaff enjoyable. There are some sticky creatures that come up mid to late swallow that really tapers the enjoyment of this one. Grain and corn come to mind. Lightly acidic and bitter. Not bad, just can’t embrace it.

Ahh, Molson Golson. Nice golden color, good flavor for a mass market brew. Light body. It goes well with Italian food, for some reason.

Ah, the beer I grew up on as a teenager. Medium golden pour with decent white head. Aroma of malt and a litte skunk. Flavor of the same. You could do worse, but also a whole lot better.

Green bottle. Golden yellow in color, white head. Pretty sweet, even some bitterness thrown in there. Lighter bodied. You could do worse.

Pours a one-finger white head that fades fairly quickly leaving some lace. Clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light bodied. Strong skunky nose. Starts smooth and sweet - I was expecting skunk juice - but no real strong flavors, no hops to speak of. Good lawnmower beer. $1.65 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

green bottle...clear straw colored pour with minimal white head. Faint malt aroma, faint skunkiness. Sweetish malt start with hardly any hop noticable throughout. Surprisingly not skunky, as this seems to be more the norm than not. Besides the sweet corn syrup flavors, there is nothing else discernable.
