COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

pours a nice golden color with little to no head, lots of carbonation, smells very sweet, tastes very sweet with almost a hint of honey sweetness, there is a small hop finish which could be just a hair stronger to help balance the sweetness. All in all a beer I thouroughly enjoyed, and I think they have a pretty sharp label

Better than anything our giants mass produce but still underwhelming. Nothing offensive but nothing memorable either. Their Export a little better.

Soft for a macro, and punctuated. Better than Molson Canadian. "Imported Directly from Canada." Okay, where else would it be redirected to? Iceland? Honey color. Nice appearance. Average beer, but decent flavor. I’m sure it would refresh me in the need. Dairy cream-ish notes on the taste buds at times. Union-made, so it says. Such pride in Canada for union beer-making!

Ack! I think I was supposed to drink this right out of the fridge when it was cold. Now the clashing "hop essences" and biscuity, cerealy malts are wearing on my palate. The body is tangy too, not exactly what I would call a "new standard in smoothness."

"Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation. " That’s the commercial description. What I’m tasting is a macro lager that is pretty uninteresting. Not much aroma, not much flavor. Looks okay. Didn’t make me ill.

Canadian is better. Not much taste, bit carby, mediocre everything. Boring.

I can’t believe they were bought out by Coors... nooooooooo! I slowly felt the taste of this brew deteriorating!

A mediocre beer all the way. Nothing about this beer stands out at all, but a large commercially brewed Canadian beer beats the heck out of a large commercially brewed American beer any day. Very drinkable, a good beer for getting sloshed, but nothing particularly appealing. Medium color, medium flavor, almost no hoppiness, medium to weak maltiness, just a beer that is decent butboring in every way. The best of the Molson beers, but nothing to write home about at all.
