Commercial Description:
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

Why do they even bother? Always skunked in green bottles and usually sitting in a store window or something. I don't taste any hops, but it is tart, or is that tangy...akin to sticking your tongue on a 9V battery. The worst Molson product I've tried.

This is a very lame beer. Has a very skunky smell initial, but the taste isn't too horribly bad. Not the best Molson I've had.

Fizzy pale yellow body. Initial skunk cloud diffuses and gives way to the smell of a dusty, spider-infested hay barn. Flavor is bland except for the excess of sugar and some noticeable cheap additive qualities. The best thing about this beer is that, although it has similar qualities to other offensive beers, it offends less. This was my first favorite beer... when I was 15 years old.

golden yellow with a thin white head...sweet lagery smell...a tad too sweet for my tastes of bland lagers...kind of like corn syrup or something, though i did detect some hops in there somewhere..gave me a headache.

This bottled brew poured a large head of fine to medium sized white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a uncarbonated transparent straw yellow colored body and a fair lace. It had a mild skunky malt aroma and a thick tingly acidic mouthfeel. The flavor was malty with mild hops.

A cross between a dry and a light. Not a lot of flavor, a beer for those who drink beer only occasionally.

I just bought a variety case of Molson's and this seems like a cross between Molson Export and Molson Canadian Light. Basically, it's better than Export and not as good as Light. As with most of Molson's beers, though, it's a good all night long beer. It's definitely not as good as a craft or micro brew, though.
