But like I said, for mega swill crap it's not too bad. It would be ok to drink this at a party just to get wasted. thehoff (569), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 3, 2003 Same as all other Molson beers. Same flavor, same skunk, same smells. Sour. I smell no underlying bitterness here. Corn, light taste, no real flavor at all. Swill basically. roder60 (1020), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

A little expensive as its an import but it has a good beer taste, a nice alcohol content and a crisp refreshing feeling when you drink it. Not the best aftertaste when you are done so make sure to order another so you don't realize. I still prefer molson canadian, but this is a close second. zach8270 (2085), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 10, 2003 Updated: Dec 12, 2008[bottle] Very slight aroma, if any at all. Pale golden color with many bubbles and a good sized head. Easy to drink, but leaves a bitterness after a short time. Has a slight pine/nutty hint instantly but does not last very long. On the whole, not a bad beer. Possibly one of the upper level cheap beers to buy. The bitterness does make me question as to whether or not many can be drunk at a time. haddon90 (1035), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 9, 2003 A clear light golden color with a little white head. Not much of an aroma, some hops, but nothing much. Pretty light taste. But for an American Standard, not that bad. aaronh (201), McMurray, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 27, 2003 Molson Golden is aptly named, as it is a pale goden color and pours with about a one inch nice white head. The head slowly dissipates and leaves no evidence of its earlier prescence. The aroma is faint, but has a hint of hops florals in it. It smells very "fresh". On the taste, the malt is evident, and the hops clean the palate fairly well, but there is a hint of something tha lingers, and I want to say it is butterscotch. But it is just a hint. After a few moments, an unpleasant bitterness reappears as an aftertaste. garrison (455), Cin. city, Ohio, USA

I'm doing this right by having a Molson Golden right in front of me as I rate the beer! Hmmm... it pours to a light golden hue, with a thin, white, rapidly dispersing head. The aroma is a tinge skunky (thank you green bottle!), but the taste is very smooth with just a hint of grain aftertaste. Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 9, 2003 Clear golden color and a thin fizzy white head tops this beer off. The aroma is skunky at first, but that recedes revealing some light malt and hop notes. Light body with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is a little watery. The flavor is lightly malty with just a bit of sweetness and hops in the finish. Drinkable, but nothing spectacular. I have definitely had worse.
