COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

Pale golden color with light creamy head that doesn't last long. Lots of lacing here though. The aroma is light malty with the adjuncts and dms showing through, not too harsh though, still mainly malty. The flavor is balanced with some crisp hop background to the vague absence of flavor. Finishes watery and bland as intended. Not horrible but not necissarily satiating either.

i don't see why everyone dogged this beer out. it's not a world class beer but it was pretty good. better than BMC. not that good for the price. i've tasted similar for less. kinda tastes like sprite selzter water

Choose Canadian if you want a Molson product (or OV which apparently they are producing now). This beer has little taste, and what it does have seems to be a confused mixture of tart and bitter. Reminded me of eating rhubarb for the response on the tongue. The green bottle (inevitably dusty) doesn't make you want to pick this up off the shelf. Take the hint when it is obvious it has been there a long while!

Very light on taste and carbonation. Light golden color with a decent but short-lived head. Overall it's alright, doesn't taste bad at all, but I wouldn't buy it unless there was nothing decent available.

Why do they even bother? Always skunked in green bottles and usually sitting in a store window or something. I don't taste any hops, but it is tart, or is that tangy...akin to sticking your tongue on a 9V battery. The worst Molson product I've tried.

This is a very lame beer. Has a very skunky smell initial, but the taste isn't too horribly bad. Not the best Molson I've had.

Fizzy pale yellow body. Initial skunk cloud diffuses and gives way to the smell of a dusty, spider-infested hay barn. Flavor is bland except for the excess of sugar and some noticeable cheap additive qualities. The best thing about this beer is that, although it has similar qualities to other offensive beers, it offends less. This was my first favorite beer... when I was 15 years old.

golden yellow with a thin white head...sweet lagery smell...a tad too sweet for my tastes of bland lagers...kind of like corn syrup or something, though i did detect some hops in there somewhere..gave me a headache.
