COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

A simple ale with a small skunky aroma.Corn flavor but overall pretty tasty for a cheap beer.

Another in the series of bad beers from good old Molson. Pours out a horse-piss yellow. Watery and thin in my book. Not much texture or flavor in this beer, by any stretch of the imagination. Galena hop "essenses", yeah right. Why don't they just use the real Galena hops, instead of the "essences". Cheap bastards producing cheap beer is all I can say about this macro-swill.

May as well be bud! Perhaps the worst thing to come out of Canada since Alanis Morrisette. Yuck!

I can't believe I actually drank this. Here's a hint: don't ever mix it with Bud.

Again, an okay beer. What I'm wondering is why all of the Canadian beers I've had have a taste of alcohol afterwards?

A rather simple ale that is slightly refreshing and easy to drink, but nothing too spectacular. Mostly corn and other adjuncts, although I thought I detected some mintiness in there. Slight skunk in the aroma, and the aftertaste leaves you wondering if you just ate a can of creamed corn.

Maybe mine was bad. This stuff tasted like malted rubbing alcohol. Very distinct odor of alcohol which is normally not present in beer. Big turnoff.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2003 This isn't great, but it's much better than Molson Canadian. Same taste as Molson Ice and Molson XXX with less alcohol.
