| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with a thin, white head.
Smell: Strong skunkiness, you can smell it immediately upon opening. Beyond that, there’s a scent of over boiled corn niblets. Take your pick.
Taste: Corny taste with a medium corn syrup sweet. Yeesh. Shamefully skunky. Mild bitterness. Finishes with a slight sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Pretty gross, actually. The beer totally nose-dived after the appearance. Not recommended whatsoever. Odyn (211), New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Pale gold color that I don’t really like too much. Distictive taste that is very macrobrewery generic. Not as drinkable as Canadian. Odd aftertaste that has an alomst sourness to it. There are better "staples" for the beer fridge. puboflyons (600), New Hampshire, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 11, 2008 From a 355 ml green bottle dated Sep 28 08 and lot coded 00135NB. I have been meaning to review this widely available biere for a while. Pours straw yellow (not really golden) with a carbonated white head that hangs around for a few minutes. Aroma of grass, light hops, and maybe some metal. A bit watery in the mouth but not offensive. Taste is distinctively Canadian macro (like Moosehead/Labatt) with a faint touch of hops. It’s always been smooth enough and a lot of people I know like this one. Molson Golden is not my first choice from this brewery; I tend to lean toward Molson Canadian. But it is still cheap enough around here and not intolerable. daknole (2891), Plantation, Florida, USA

Smooth, nice subtle flavor. Very refreshing, otherwise, fairly average in appearance and all other markers. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 14, 2008 it smells only slightly, but like rotten corn. tastes too sweet, even a little like malt liquor, its a deep golden in colour. only 4.7% apparently and its even slightly more expensive than the macro flagship brands, i dont know why the beerstore bothers selling all these wierd slightly different variants blipp (1641), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt and fresh barely. Light body, fairly crisp. Flavor is all malt, lightly sweet, just a hint of hops. Not actually that bad.
