COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

I got this from Friar Tucks. Pours gold with a white head. Taste grain, corn, mild funky. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. I don’t know why these guys brew so many crappy beers but they certainly have a knack for it. Vaguely sweet, a bit too much carbo, thin body, very lightly bitter and a very brief very lightly bitter finish.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours pale straw yellow, one finger quick white head. Some lacing with slight retention. Aroma of biscuit and grass. Taste is sweet with just a hint of bitterness. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation, watery mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of cereal grains, grass, slight skunk and bread. Better than most American pale lagers but that’s not saying much.

Quite normal. Refreshing and thin but not so heavy as many golden beers. Sweet and with that honeyed taste of Canadian beers.

Not bad. A little sweet and definitely refreshing. Not the best but better than Budweiser, Miller, or most other American swill. Would have some again.

Clear yellow. Very bubbly big head. Mostly grain like and bitter. No beer flavor a other than grain. Only very light hops, but mostly bitter for light beer.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear pale golden color, white head, waves of lace, lots of rising carbonation. Aroma is the corn and light malt aroma consistent with most "big box" beers. Taste is minimal malt and a strong shot of adjunct that moves quickly through the palate to a finish that has a pinch of hops and a tiny bit of sour. Not so much bad, as it is uninteresting.

12pz bottle pours a clear pale golden/yellow with a large white head. Aroma of dry grassy hops, bordering on skunky, grain and dry malt. Mellow taste of corn grain and malt, dry tasting yeast and mild grassy hops. Not a bad lager.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow body with just a few bubbles of white head. The nose and flavor are equally awful, all corn and wet soggy grain with zero hops or redeeming qualities whatsoever. This is rather skunky and amazingly bad, even for a Molson product. I mean, I don’t expect much in the way of flavor, but it’s usually tolerable. Light bodied and fizzy. This stuff is pretty gross.

This is a sub-average beer, but not too bad.....drinkable. More of a daytime, lawnmower beer. I prefer it to the American lagers, but still would rather have Molson Ice, or their Export Ale....or better yet, Labatts Blue!
