Golden. No head. Tastes like a Canadian or Mexican bud light. Corn? Perry average green bottle beer.

Tasted from 12oz green bottle into a Willbecher glass. It poured a crystal-clear golden color with weak white foam. I bought it because I’d heard good things about the Canadian version in brown bottles, plus it states "Specially brewed to taste like an ale and a lager." I was hoping it might be an alright California Common or Cream Ale, but it looks, smells, and tastes pretty much like any other Bud/Miller/Coors adjunct pale lager. Fizzy, corny, yellow water. Not as offensive and downright disgusting as some, but bleh. Oh, and for the record, I noticed once I got home the label says "Brewed in Golden, CO...Product of USA." So, perhaps the Canadian original is an altogether different thing, I don’t know.

Don’t know what the green bottle is doing to this beer in the US but I promise you that this beer is extraordinary in a brown bottle in a country where great beer is a religion! This beer is a classic example of a smooth beer brewed in a unique double brewing process that employs Galena hops...... A great beer at a great price point that is smoother than any macro beer in the Canadian marketplace. Do yourself a favor and travel North for a pint!

I was drinking a very shitty Budweiser (tap), I couldnt even finish it, so I asked the barmaid for a Molson Golden; MG was like heaven in a glass. Now I drink nothing but Canadian beer and whiskey.

For my money I would rather drink Labatt Blue, but that’s only if someone is holding a gun to my head. Good when you are up in Syracuse and it’s on sale.

Twelve ounce bottle from Western Hills Kroger, tasted on September 2, 2012. Sweet skunky aroma even though the green botttle was concealed in a 12 pack, gold color, small white head, moderate bittersweet flavor with annoying astringency. It is what it is, and it ain’t a pretty picture.

Light gold, clear. Nose is fairly pungent lager aroma with hints of grapejuice. Upfront flavors are fruity lager, and aftertaste is ale. Remniscent of many big-name commercial lagers, with an added chewiness to the finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with small frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is honey and corn malt. Thin mouthfeel with a strong skunk flavor and grass. Not much going on with this one.

Not good but better than Bud.

Bottle. Pours a light and crystal clear golden color with very little head. Nose is a little more intense than other Molson lagers, but has that same skunkiness to it. Taste is also rather watery.
