At Pilsner we have not changed since our beer was 1st brewed in 1926. Why? It’s right there on the bottle…. "old style". Those are more than just words on a beloved label. Being true to who we are has kept our drinkers loyal and kept Pilsner from being a fad. And that’s why our advertising, promotions and even our website have been done in the style of 1926- old style. Being true to who we are has kept our drinkers loyal and kept Pilsner form being a fad. The stagecoach on the label is not a band wagon..... the rabbit would not stand for it.

This pils poured a clear light yellow with a big bright white head. Scents include corn, eggs and cream. First swig was very watery with light malt flavours and a hint of hops. Finish is lightly bitter with a malty corn flavour lingering.

Pours very light yellow, good head. Aroma of straw. Sweet straw grainy flavours, it’s ok for Molson big brewery swill, probably one of their better ones.

Why is there no ingredients list withbeers like this? Pleasant understated pilsner with a touch more malt that typical commercial ales, and little to offend. The effervescence is a bit overdone creating a fuzzy sensation on the tongue. A touch of citrus hops is there as well, but you have to dig to find it!

Faintly hoppy. Really crisp. Perhaps the best label of all-time. This brew gets a lot of hate, but it’s unpretentious and drinkable. What more do you want?

Red, yellow, green can. Without your glasses on you might think it was from Jamaica. In the center of the artwork on the can is a teepee with people sitting to the right of it. One is clutching their belly in pain because they probably just drank a can of this. Less flavor than bud or miller light.

Can @ Splitz Burger, Whistler. Light, pale, clean and crisp. We'll take it I guess... Extra points for the can.

473ml can. Clear pale gold with a thin foamy white head. Flavors are pale malts, corn, honey, citrus and grass with floral notes. Light body, fizzy carbonation, thin texture.

Bready, cereal aromas. More hop bite than most mass produced beers, however still subtle. Light bodied, thin, longer finish than others of the style. Big carbonation, unique.

Bottle, Silver Dollar, Spadina Ave. Boring beer. More amber than yellow, thin head. Slightly hoppy aroma. Strongly carbonated, thin palate. Hops and corn. Maybe a fall back on a hot summer night.

Can - 473ml. Boring pale blond body with very heavy carbonation and a thin white creamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with some herbal and corny hints. Taste is watery and carbonation is agressive on the tongue. Some timid Saaz hops and corny flavors are noticeable. Ends with a short herbal finish. Probably one of Molson’s most drinkable products.
