UPDATED: MAR 29, 2005 My favorite of the ’Canadian Standards’, which isn’t saying much. Very drinkable, happy little beer.

As I walked up to the "Inn" it looked abandoned, and down a couple of broken down hallways I found an old man selling beer and this is what he had, so I purchased some and headed back to the lake. The surprise? It is actually not bad. Well made with a pleasing lager sweetness and no creamed corn flavor so typical of the style.

I thought this was ’dirty old man’ beer until I tried it; I must say, after all the negative stuff I heard about it, I was pleasantly surprised!

Good beer. Has some body to it and goes down well. We used to drink the OV splits alot in the old days. (20 years ago) Why, cause that’s they only way some bars carried it.
