Can @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear yellow appearance with a big foamy white head. Spritzy lemon, cotton candy, a bit sweet aroma. Slightly watery but tasty lemon, vanilla, sweet pale malty flavor. Easy fucken drinker. Molson seems to put out the best selection of tasty macros these days. They all kind of taste the same but I guess they have found something that works.

Okay, I actually had this alongside a Stella Artois. They look the same-- if anything, OV had a nicer looking head to it. However, the difference begins with the aroma: OV essentially has none, other than a bicarbonate tang that tickles your nose. As it warmed up, a sharp graininess became faintly evident. The Stella had more flavour, but not much more. Basically this endeavour illustrated the averageness of Stella more than anything!

Growing up in Western New York, this was one of the first beers I ever drank. Its cheap. Real cheap. Keystone cheap. Anyway, on to the rate. Pours pale gold with a fizzy white head. Grainy aroma. The flavor has a bit of sweetness with grain and hay. inoffensive and easy drinking.

OV Splits at Brick Bar. What memories. Very bored at work today since I am reminiscing about all the shit beer I used to indulge. Pale yellow blah, blah, blah

(Rating #5659)

This was the "local's" favorite when I went fishing in Ontario. Does not seem as full as it did with Carling OKeefe. Pale golden color with a average white head. Light pale malt and hint of herbal hops. Light sweet grain and a nip of bitterness late. Slightly better than the standard american standard.

Light head, nice colour for the style. Thin aroma. I remember this beer before Molson bought Carling O'Keefe as the one non-beer drinkers drank before Coors Light. As such I was a little surprised that it was actually a lightly hopped and average American Standard.
