4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
If this were available near me it would be my beer of choice. True full flavor which isn’t overloaded with malt or hops aftertaste

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle. Poured clear gold with not much of any head. Delicious bready malt aroma. Average carbonation, just a slightly chewy mouthfeel. Flavour of barley malt, a touch of citrus and grassy hop, finishes peppery with a medium dryness. A nice diamond in the rough in the the endless sea of macro brews.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pale and light gold colour with little aroma. Taste is very light. Although probably one of the best current macros.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
341ml bottle. aroma of cooked veggies, cheap malts, and a whole lot of corn. good mouth feel, and good carb. the finish is corny, mealy, and wet almost mold grains. this is bad.

For many years as full as Molson beers got. Heavier and more bitter than most Molson products this is still underpowered and under performs. BIt to carbonic too though there is a bit of a messy bitterness there if you look.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, sweet aroma and aroma. Pretty simple, better than most of theSe canadian macros. Reminds me of the pre-21 days and heading over to the Ontario bars

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Originally rated June 2005. Bought this one in a 24 pack (the only way to get this at The Beer Store in Ontario). This is a beer that use to be popular at one time (20 some years ago), but now just doesn’t sell anymore. The colours on the box (and label) are super outdated. Pours a golden colour with a decent head. Spots of foamy lacing is left. The carbonation is slow and medium in size and quantity. Aroma of grain malt. So is the taste, with a mild sweetness. Nothing extremely crazy here, but good for swilling... when you want an alternative to a lager. One day, you will probably not see this beer anymore, as the regular move on to the other side. After collecting the bottle caps of this brew when I was young, and not hearing about this brew for the last 15-20 years... I am glad I could try this one.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
I agree with the last commenter. How the hell can you make such terrible beer for so long? Jesus. That being said, it’s a far cry better than many molson products. By better i mean less bad.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draft. Pale yellow, frothy white head. Vaguely fruity, predominantly grainy aroma and flavour. Watery body, empty finish. The description listed by the brewer is laughable compared to the reality.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Slightly spicy melanoidins in the nose together with powdery grain. Bright gold under a lasting, thin white sheet. Unremarkable flavour of oniony grain and ever so faint hops. Light body, medium carbonation, tangy finish. Not quite offensive.
