Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Aug 18, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at GBBF. Slightly hazy gold with a thin but lasting white head. Yeasty and citric with a slightly tart and lightly hopped finish. More like a Belgian ale really but the grain and caramel malt pull it a little more into heller bock territory. harrisoni (5106), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 8, 2008 Bottle at GBBF 08. Hazy gold, syrupy Belgian yeast aroma. Some lemon. It’s a yeasty decent beer. KimJohansen (3026), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 5, 2008 Cloudy golden with large off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel nand citric notes. Sweet malty flavor with caramel notes. Ends sweet. hopscotch (4433), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle... Thinkin’ ‘Bout Thirteen Hours O’ Drinkin’ (tew man wrecking crew)... Lightly hazed golden lager with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The aroma is a wholesome blend of honey, bread and fruit. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and jazzy carbonation. Moderate honey and fruit sweetness; medium to heavy bitterness. Lengthy, bitter, and then dry finish. Bottle courtesy of SoLan! mgumby10 (1624), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Jun 15, 2008 Courtesy SoLan. Pours a lightly hazy dark gold color, with a medium off white head. Smells of yeast, lightly funked out citrus, malt, and crisp grain. The flavor had a decent little hop presence going on, with a left behind bitterness that was sharp and biting. The citrus is more muffled and bland, withthe graininess abundant. Decent heller bock, but boring.
