Fin (3376), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jun 20, 2009 Bottle at T’ Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 08-06-09 Pours rich reddy brown with light beige head. Aroma is dark sticky fruits and molasses, its also quite malty, getting dates and raisins. Taste is initially sweet dates, figs and raisins dominate along with a goodly spoonful of damp cane sugar. Soft in the mouth. The alcohol is well hidden, its tasty but the lingering sweetness just knocks it down peg or two, some burnt cinder toffee to finish things off.
