Bottle. [thank you, Skortila!]
Pours a muddy pale brown-red with a medium creamy yellow-ish head. It quickly becomes a thin film. Aroma has alcohol, toffee, plums, raisins. Medium carbonation. Sweet, plum-like, malty and a little fruityness. Some wood, raisins and viniousness. Not the most complex Quad ever. So this is certainly a capable beer, just not in the league of its styles best examples.

Murky brown pour covered by a fading off-white head. Toasty, malty ale with authentic munich malt bill. A very malty ale whose quad classification makes sense. Not too fruity, but chocolate emanations are constant, so are nutty ones. The gently warming alcohol wears a coat of Cuban rum. Perhaps a bit simple in maltiness, but the yeast is confident and the palate is excellently thick and softly foamy enough to be more than credible.

from crackedkettle.com - hazy ruby-brown colour with a little beige foam; complex aroma of hazelnut, licorice and vanilla; sweet and full-bodied with a decent bitterness; very long nutty, woody finish with some residual sweetness

Bottle at home. Cherry aroma. Dark brown with tan head. Wheaty, caramel and toffee flavour. Various fruits. Brown sugar, definitely. Alcohol not really noticeable until the finish when it gets all warm and fuzzy.
