Bottle. Black with a nice brown head. Aroma and flavour of coffee, chocolate, caramel, roasted malt and hops.

Beer No. 79 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Courtesy of Papsoe, thanks! Almost black coloured, small beige head, a bit smoked sweet and mild lactic nose. Moderate malty, light smoked and touch of chocolate with dry but slightly watery finish.

Van de tap. Prachtig donker bier met een mooie stevige roomkleurige schuimkraag, die het voor Deense begrippen ook vrij lang volhoudt. In de smaak vooral koffie en geroosterd mout.

Almost black with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and a little smoke. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and roasted light bitter finish. 200711

(Bottle 20/07-2011) Low head, black slightly red color, dry taste. Below average schwarzbier.

09-JUL-2011, bottle @Ulkløbben Summerparty. Black with low beige head. Thin, sweet schwarzbier-like with some roasted notes but overall just boring.

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with some licorice and a roasted touch. Sweetish dark malty flavour with some licorice and a hint of yeast

bottle @ ekstra bladet juleølssmaging dark brown, small offwhite head. aroma is faint, licorice, malts, faint roasteed stuff. flavor is licorice, malts, caramel, dry faint hoppy balance.

Bottle. Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a weak beige head. The aroma is malt and roasted. The flavor follows the nose closely. The palate is thin and overall this beer is below average.
