Can frm Yamaya. Clear pale gold with small head. Yeasty peachy aroma. Very light flavour, cloying and metallic. Wish I read the ingredients before buying it. Saying that I definitely had worse for the money.

Non male. Birra chiara saporita. Poca schiuma e poco gassata. Amara quanto basta. Piacevole.

330 ml can. BB 2014/08/18. (Maxima) Šiauliai, Lithuania.
Clear golden amber colour with a mid-size foamy white head. Mild Belgian yeast, sweetness and mild fruitiness in the aroma. Not that bad. The flavour is mild yeast, mild hops, some fruity sweetness and some harshness. Typical cheap Belgian ale. Soft carbonation. Drinkable.

75cl bottle. Clear light yellow, uneven white head. Bad metallic smell with some hops, taste doesn’t get any better. Also, too watery.

mu kodu maxima on heade õllede müümise suures osas lõpetanud. kuid suutis siiski üllatada. 85 senti eest väike jaapani kirjadega purk. väike purk on niikuinii perversne nähtus, kuid 6 kraadi päästavad asja siiski halvimast. lahjemana ei kannataks kindlasti juua. suuma kuvepäeva jook. hoiatan: purgist klaasi valada pole pointi. lõhn värv ega suurem võlv suhu ei anna midagi

Boring and watery blond beer. Better dan pilsnet, but still very uninteresting.

słodki, owocowo drożdżowy zapach, troszkę morelowy. kolor pomarańczowy/ciemnozłoty. piana dość mała, ale trwała. w smaku sporo drożdży, dużo słodyczy od słodu i morele. lekka goryczka

Can from Aldi for about ¥128. Deep blonde with an orange tint, low fine head. Fruity, estery, Belgian yeast nose with candy and corn and peaches and light spice. Sweet stewed pears and honey flavor, candyish, light peaches amd spices. A cheap Belgian knock-off, and tastes like it. But as good as some more accepted Belgian industrial stuff that costs twice as much—not to say it’s all that good, of course. But it is the cheapest Belgian ale in Japan, and for that, not completely crap.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2014 Can from local Yamaya store. Light peachy nose, yeast, and a definite metallic note. Orange/amber color, with weird little bubbles that sit on the bottom of the glass and then take off upwards at warp speed. Light ripe apples and peaches / mid palate goes somewhat harsh / final is not so pleasant either. Medium body. Kind of cheap, generic fruity stuff, The metallic thing is a bit too much. Another cheapo import to Japan. I feel that these low-rent contract/importers are giving the local populace something different, but it’s only half (or less) the story of real Belgian beer.
