Bottle at home in London with Lyoli - picked up from Oddbins London Bridge. Pours clear yellow, lightly effervescent with a moderate, creamy white head and a bit of sediment. Sugary, doughy white bread in the nose, faint hay. Medium sweet flavor, lots of sugary white bread, dough, mild bitter straw, hints of minerally yeast. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with very mellow dryness, low bitterness, more doughy pale malts, some white bread, very light lemon peel. Pretty tasty stuff, if a bit simple.

Bottle from the legendary Kris Wines. Slightly hazy light amber color with a medium white head. The nose is light white bread, some mango, apricot and herbal coriander. The taste is light grassy hops, bread, and light sweet grains. Pretty neutral flavor, lightly fruity but not exciting. The body’s soft, the beer’s easy to drink. Overall, there’s nothing wrong with the beer, it’s fine. Nothing more.
