COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Summer. Also available bottled.
Created to celebrate the unique events happening in the UK this summer, our latest addition, Notting Hill Summer, is a refreshing zesty ale that packs a big punch of flavour for its strength. Initially full of hops and bitterness, a subtle sweetness is also present, all leading to a long lingering complex finish.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Dried straw in the nose, some biscuits. Light sweet flavor with mild bitter straw, some citric zip, light dry orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, more dry, citric bite, faint floral notes, some stone. It’s a decent golden ale. Pretty tasty.

Shared 500ml bottle, from Sourced Market St Pancras. Low, white head. Apricot coloured body with a slight haze. Grass hoppy and grainy nose. Orange fruity flavour leading to a semi-dry ending. Thin bodied. Easy to drink and quite refreshing (hotel room, London 27.11.2012).

Bottle from Oddbins West Hampstead. Flat looking golden colour. Lightly hoppy aroma. Somewhat flat taste, slightly stewed hop character. There are plenty of low abv beers out there with more character than this one.

Bottle from St Pancras, London. A hazy golden ale with tangerine and citrus hop flavours followed by a creamy bitter pine and woody finish.

Bottle @ The Union Tavern. Pours light gold with a medium white head. The nose is raspberry ripple, some sweet breakfast cereal and light grass. The taste is herbal hop-steeped tea, some dry tobacco(!), apricot fruit and brioce bread. The body’s light and frankly a bit watery. Overall, decent and unoffensive, but this is a bit underwhelming. I really want Moncada to succeed as they’re local, but they’ve yet to win me over with their beers.

Cask gravity at Sebright Arms Hackney. Pale gold with thin white head. Decent enough hoppy golden ale. Some lime fruit edge. Yep a tasty golden. Bit harsher on the bitterness than you would think for a lighter abv
