Atlanta, Ga - Buddies (a Citgo Station adjoining íBurger Winí - an awesome late night Chinese/Burger/Wings place) - 22 oz bomber. Very dark, hazy copper pour sticky eggshell white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has a nice subtle spruce bent to it, some floral notes. Flavor is full bodied with plenty of requisite citrus bitterness, a touch of maple syrup, some caramel sweetness. Thick rich mouthfeel. I like what I see from this brewer so far.

I love Monday Night Brews, but the bottled version of this (which I am rating) was too sweet with a funk. However, it was excellent on draught at the brewery.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(22oz bottle) clear deep gold, thin lasting creamy tan head. Nose is malty, honey, rose water, fairly sweet smelling but some citrus zest too. Taste is malty, rose water, honey, bitter citrus zest thatís balanced by the sweetness but leaves a bitter linger as a result. Not very balanced for me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from trade with jrob21. Pours a hazy amber color with a huge fluffy head that fades very slowly and leave chunky lacing. Big citrus and caramel aroma with some hints of flowers and herbal hops. Taste has very little sweetness and a moderate bitter punch. Light on the hops for a DIPA but a decent flavor. Lots of caramel malt with some toasted bread. Hops hit lightly in the finish with herbs, citrus, and mild spiciness. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel. A solid DIPA. I think this would be best drank super fresh.

Amber color with a thick white head. Aroma is nice piney hops. Flavor is resinous, sticky hops with a strong bitterness in the finish. Aftertaste is a touch on the bitter side, but not too bad.
