On tap at Ale Yeah! In Roswell, GA. Smoke flavor is mild enough to be enjoyable. Full, round, flavorful.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This beer has a big malt and grain aroma. The color is pure dark brown with a medium sized off-white head.
The flavor is very rich and smooth. I liked this beer quite a bit and thought it was more than just a scottish ale.

Comes out of the tap a barely transparent chocolate brown with a fine-bubbled light tan head. Rich, malty, chocolaty and spicy aroma invites a taste. Mouth-filling malty flavor has a spicy undertone and hints of chocolate and toffee. Strongly tingly texture leaves a persistent fizz behind.

This beer was surprisingly smooth but with a very nice finish. You can taste the smoke but not too much.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. The pour is dark, opaque brown with a modest tan head that fades down and leaves lacing. Enticing sweet malt, peat moss, and light smoky aroma. Little in the way of hops. The body is medium but soft and delicate. Sweet malt taste with no booze and a light dry finish. I would like to get this one in my area.

Had this at Six Feet Under in a tulip (thistle). Very fragrant but well rounded bitterness. Impressive, will enjoy again.

32 oz growler from Catch A Drought. It pours dark brown almost black with a small tan head. It has the aroma of smoke with chocolate and a little coffee. It has a wonderful somewhat complex malty taste. It tastes of smoke, chocolate, caramel & bread with maybe a little vanilla and a slight woody flavor. This is really an outstanding beer.

Ridiculousness in a glass. So good. Only thing I could possibly say is I would love to chew on this brew but I can only drink it. Seek this out!

Love the smokiness flavor throughout, definitely has a malty finish to clean up with a perfect balance
