COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A crisp, drinkable IPA. The earthy deliciousness of Cascade and Simcoe hops, combined with upfront malt flavor, and balanced with a pirate’s sensibilities. Our Eye Patch Ale is a uniquely drinkable take on the American IPA – sweet caramel, citrusy flowers and swashbuckling adventure abound with every pint.

Brewed at Thomas Creek before the brewery opened.

Orange amber body was clear, and the carbonation gentle. The head was one finger thick. The aroma was maltier than a typical IPA, with smells of caramel and toffee, and grassy hops. The taste was a little too vegetal for my liking, with some cooked corn showing up. There was a metallic bitterness to the beer. The beer was medium thick in the mouth, and the finish was dry. A little underwhelming, if you ask me.

Amber pour, off white head. A tad maltier than I would like but certainly not bad. Hop pellet bitterness and caramel malt. Decent.

If you want to feel cool because you drink an ipa this is for you. Very malty builds up a bitter profile on your tongue. Sweet with a grassy feel on the tongue. No aroma hardly exist. Mild bitterness. Overall an enjoyable pale ale though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Sundial. Pours a hazy amber-orange color with a quickly dissipating head. Hints of citrus and pine aromas. Evident hops, though light for an IPA, balancing malt. Overall a tasty if lightly-hopped IPA.

Draft at Crystal Beer Parlor. Nose is slightly piney with moderate toffee and honey like sweetness. Pours a fairly clear reddish orange. Taste is similar with a residual sweetness and slight roasty finish. A touch of butter/slickness that might be diacetyl in the flavor. Ok but not great

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a head that fades slowly to some lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine, floral with grain and bit of malt. Taste of pine and bit of grapefruit, bit of malt sweetness and grain. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Fairly medium body, crisp with a solid IPA feel without being overly hopped. Nice beer worth checking out.

12 oz bottle. It pours a dark golden color or maybe light amber with a small white head. It has a nice citrus and floral hop aroma. It’s a nice dry ,hoppy, bitter but not excessively so IPA. I taste grapefruit and other citrus, some resin and a hint of pine. This is a really good beer. I will try to drink more by this brewer in the future.

Pours clwar golden copper with a bubbly white cap. Very herbal, floral, pine and some rye in the aroma. Flavor follows suit. Light body, mrdium carbonation. Very good beer but in comparison to others I’d say this one’s right on par. Not outstanding but definitely not bad.

Poured a cloudy orange color with aromas of light citrus, malt and some earth. Flavors were the same light malt up front followed by some citrus and finished with some bitterness.

Lighter in aroma. Malty. Hint of citrusy hops. A little floral. Pours sort of a light amber color. Taste is very malt forward. Hops are a little dull and really only noticeable on the finish where they linger a bit long Palate is great. Carbonation is smooth with a nice medium mouthfeel. Overall not a great beer but not bad. A little too malty for the style and the hops dont really cut through enough. Easy drinking. The mouthfeel really helps.
