3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Porter Beer Bar in Atlanta. Solid light pouring beer with a serious Belgian head. Great lacing. Aroma of lemons, ginger, grass, Belgian yeasts, and other herbs. The taste was quite the same with the herbs and lemons coming through. Nice bled of all the goodness. Easy to sip, refreshing, light body. Medium carbonation. I’ll have another please.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at Six Pence, Savannah. No head. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), with notes of ginger and orange peel. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, nearly flat carbonation.
Undercarbonated and smells mostly of ginger. Rather bland in the mouth. Could only drink a few ounces before boredom set it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from jbruner poured into a weizen glass. Hazy light orange with small white head which dissipates pretty fast. Aroma is spicy coriander, light body, well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is coriander and some orange. Reminiscent of Napa Smith Wheat Beer.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slightly cloudy golden pour. Normal head volume, poor lacing and retention.
Nice classic Belgian Wit nose of light citrus (lemon, orange), rich coriander notes, but light on banana notes until it warms. Also present is a spicy ginger undertone.
Almost medium bodied with a texture approaching creamy. Normal carbonation with a touch of effervescence in the middle and a nice burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is outstanding. It is intense (ginger forward), complex and reasonably balanced. It begins with a tart burst that is mostly lemon. The lemon slowly yields to orange and banana notes. In the middle, ginger comes forward with a coriander and clove background. The finish is a slow fade of these flavors with phenolic clove becoming more noticeable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Village Wine and Spirits. Aroma of powdered sugar, ginger, with light esters, and minimal citrus. Medium straw color and rather furious carbonation rising. Light malt, sugar, big ginger, some wheat, and an herbal medicine finish. Thin body. Okay... but the ginger is too apparent and doesn’t blend in well.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from The Stout Brothers in Atlanta, GA. Mostly clear light orange pour with a small soapy white head. Ginger jumps out first on aroma - pretty cool. Bit of yeast. More ginger on taste. This is somewhat unique and well made. Digging it.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a bottle, A golden yellow. Great ginger aroma - a lot going on. Starts sweet and lemony and the flavor drifts with bubbles on your tongue. Lingering slight maltiness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle, purchased from Habersham in Savannah on 2/23/15. Shared with aabean & friends. Orange color. Thin white head, leaving good splotches of lace. Very nice snappy ginger aroma, a very welcome addition here. Dot and bit of lace. Good bit of belgian yeast, some breadiness. Medium body. Smooth kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Very refreshing and bright. Moderate sweet taste, good bit of zest, mild bitter. Some citrus type hop? Mild spice. Very refreshing tasty wit. I love the ginger.
