3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bottle. Nice copper color, with a big, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is immediate caramel, with some cloves, mild earthiness, and some light piney hops. Sweet flavor, with just a little mild bitterness. Light to medium body, smooth, and velvety. This is a nice, mellow beer. Good flavor, and excellent mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. slightly cloudy copper with a large head. earthy hop aroma with bread malt. big bready victory malt flavors which i donít care for, touches of toffee and a light manageable citrus and black tea note from the chinook. medium bodied and slurpy palate. they a good job with this...donít expect a hop bomb. it seems as if they used the fresh hops for the whole boil so its not very bitter. if you like victory malt then this beer is for you i suppose.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear amber pour with a frothy white head. Stuck around nicely. Aroma was quite malty up front, caramel. Once swirled a bit some light citrus, earthy hop and woody notes came in. Flavors followed suit with good bits of caramel, slight citrus and a dry woody finish. Mouthfeel was medium to light, velvety carbonation was a plus. You need to give this one a minute to grow on you before jumping to conclusions. Quite nice once it opens up.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is pine hops with a slight bit of sweet malt. Flavor is fairly sharp pine hops which finish surprisingly clean. Not too resinous or sticky, but with a bit of caramel malt in the finish. Pretty enjoyable and very drinkable.

4.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bottle. Silver&black label. Amber color, light tan foam. Aroma of sweet, toasted malts. Hints of honey. Tastes of an Amber Ale. Toasted malts, sessionable, toasted bread, autumn air, earthy notes. Finishes with an earthly character. If there is a beer I could drink everyday, it is this style. Perfect balance. Very well done. 2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Half-growler poured into a pint glass. Overall a pretty mediocre amber ale. Murky flavors that arenít bad, but just indistinct. Probably wouldnít order it again.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear brownish amber, perhaps a honey tone, with a thick and fluffy buff head that sticks around for a while. Malty aroma has a nice piney overtone and more than a hint of Mandarin orange, no doubt from them Chinook hops. Rich flavor delivers more than most of the other amber ales I have tried - the malty core supports evergreen, woody, citrus, and subtle bready notes. Smooth texture is only somewhat fizzy, but it leaves a flavorful and satisfying finish. Get hip and get hoppiní!
