COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A happy accident led us to try infusing our Eye Patch Ale with fresh serrano peppers. We wanted to share this deliciousness with you. Serrano Eye Patch has all the crisp, clean characteristics of an IPA, with a great pepper aroma and a hint of heat to cut the bitterness on the back end. If you canít stand the heat, get out of the brewery.

Hazy dark golden color. Small white head. No lacing. Malty aroma. Orange hop aroma. Orange hop aroma with a pepper skin note. Not much heat. But a little bit.

I like IPAs with Peppers added. This is an IPA with peppers added. I liked it. Actually, the peppers were kind of on the mellow side, so there wasnít a ton of heat. Great flavor, tough. Tasty.

12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy deep amber body with s very good head. Season peppers are rather subtle at first but build in intensity with repeated sipping. Still, only mild heat and moderate pepper flavor here: a balance that allows the base beer to show as well.

6/3/15. 12oz bottle thanks to rdixon77. Golden pour with a small khaki head, mild lacing. Pepper definitely present on the aroma, nothing crazy spicy, some mild citrus and fruitiness. Doughy flavor, pepper coming through definitely, but not spicy to me, reminds of salsa in a way, fruity. Not bad. Lack of heat might be because we killed a Habanero Sculpin right before this...

Interesting brew. Golden pour. The aroma was citrus with a slight spice. The taste was mango, pepper, chili. Nicely balanced. Didnít blow my mind, but very drinkable for pepper ipa.

Cloudy orange pour with a tall, sticky off-white head. Light peppery citrus aroma. Hoppy bitterness on the front and a light spicy burn that builds in the finish.

Bottle. Nicely done - the spicyness is well hidden and overall it is an interesting brew.

Draft - Mango and tropical fruit. Clear gold with a rich white head. Peppery and chili taste with some mango fruitiness. Pretty balanced and good even though the chili wasnít planned.

Macon, Ga. - Bearfoot Tavern - on tap. Dull IPA donít really pick up the Serrano - slight hint in the back end. . Medium golden pour, off white head, light lacing. Doughy accents, brief citrus notes, slight butterscotch. Mouthfeel is thick enough.
