COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A happy accident led us to try infusing our Eye Patch Ale with fresh serrano peppers. We wanted to share this deliciousness with you. Serrano Eye Patch has all the crisp, clean characteristics of an IPA, with a great pepper aroma and a hint of heat to cut the bitterness on the back end. If you canít stand the heat, get out of the brewery.

Aroma is malty. A little hoppy. Color is a sort of thing amber. Head is amazing thick and white. Taste is sort of hodgepodge. Verry malty. Not really a lot of hops. Not really a lot of spice either. The subtlest hint. Palate is smooth crisp and clean. Solid body. This is a strange beer. Not because of the peppers but because it really tastes more like an amber ale. The mouthfeel is really the standout here. Itís so thick and smooth! A solid every day beer.

I helped load in this keg to an fundraiser for my kidís preschool. I then had to head home and wait with anticipation until the soiree got going to try this nice little spicy brew. Pours slightly hazy pear with respectable white head. Scent is lemon pepper. IPA flavors dominate the slight spiciness. Mouthfeel is lively and matches the peppers well. Fun beer. Pours a dark gold/orange color, with an off white head. Smells of citrus and some spiciness, Taste is amazing, starts out wit some citrusy hop character and then moves on to a light eat and spiciness, burns just a small amount at the back of your throat.

Growler @ Cumming Growler. Orange pour. Smells like an IPA, nice hoppy nose, caramel malts. Very distant hints of green serrano, youíd have to look for it. Definitely flavor of peppers. No heat is present, obvious character of green vegetable / fresh peppers. I loved the character of this beer, great conversation starter, unique, and most of all sessionable. (3941)
