A light yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is a artificial banana aroma, the flavor is also of artificial bananas and is quite sweet.

Bottled. Golden colour. Candyish banana aroma. Super sweet, extremely cloying and sugary. Oh boy, Huyghe really sucks.

(Bottle 33 cl) Yellow, slightly hazy with a small, creamy head. Incredibly strong and sweet banana both in aroma and flavours. But also somewhat artificial. According to the list of ingredients none of the Mongozo beers should contain malt! In that case they’re small masterpieces within the art of brewing.... 240705

The phrases "huyghe brewery" and "banana beer" are both sufficient in and of themselves to induce reverse peristalsis. Put them together and you have a recipe for disaster. Pale yellow colour; banana, cinammon flavour; cream of wheat aroma. I wouldn't go so far as to say I enjoyed it, but it's a lot better than Chapeau Banane, which makes it the best banana beer I've tried.

Bottled. Cloudy yellow coloured with a small white head. Cloying aroma of bananas with acidic notes. Flavour of bananas with citric notes. Weird combination.
