My Girlfriend got this served in a coconut at the rake.Weird piña colada style. Can this really be called a beer? I could drink around a thousand of these though.

bottle - My non beer liking friend ordered this silly "beer" while we were at Delirium in Brussels. She was disappointed that they didn’t serve it in a coconut shaped cup like she’d seen once before. It has a huge coconut aroma. The taste is basically a pina colada. We both agreed on that. It’s very sweet and full of coconut with some citrus. Somewhere under there are the weak remains of a beer. This one’s rather hard to rate. Tis a silly beer! edit: Ok, I’d not have guessed this one is 8% abv and from the makers of Delirium.

Bottled. Muddy pale yellow. Coconut milk aroma. Very sweet with lots of sugar, lot of coconut and well... not much else. Cloyingly sweet, as always from Huyghe but at least this would probably work well to cook Thai food with. Totally un-beery, but lot offputting.

33cl, brew with quinua, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex sweet fruit brew, not balanced, cloudy, good head, nothing special, too sweet

Hazy yellow with tiny white short lasting head. Cloying sweet aroma with coconut notes. Very sweet flavour with artificial coconut, plactis and perfume notes. Finished cloying sweet. Awfull.

Bottled. Foggy pale yellow, looks like a wit or weissbier, with a rather large head which lasts for some time. Smells of coconut and vanilla, kinda like the malibou drink. The taste is absolutely horrendous and disgusting. A sickening sweet plastic coconut flavour, with some touch of vanilla and distinct alcohol. Stay clear unless you find yourself in the midst of a desert with no options left.

Shared w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a cloudy golden color. Aromas of coconut, wheat bread, and a touch of something sweet. Flavor is a weird balance of coconut flavor with malts and a crisp numbing dry finish. I’m not big on fruit beers, but this one has a subdued flavor, not over the top. Tasted like mounds/almond joy. Really coconutty. The type of beer you have one of, not a session beer.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Some lace. Aroma is coconut, glueish sweet with some hints of bread. Flavour is glueish sweetness along with coconut and some alcohol. Quite harshly sweet compared to the 3.5% one. Quite much like some stronger liquordrink by the sweetness...

Bottle at EBF 2008. Hazy yellow with a off white head. Aroma moderate malty, especially of coconut. Flavor extremely sweet of coconut. Medium body. Could be fine as a welcome drink.

Hazy bright luminous yellow poured. Smells of artificial flavourings of coconut and morello cherries. Like a fake pina colada. Taste is pleasent at first. Coconut, very sweet. Surprisingly nice lacing on the glass. Odd fake sweetener after taste.
