The coco Mongozo, with coconut milk and quinoa, as well as coconut aromas. Thick, creamy, moussy, snow white head, hazy light yellow colour. Coconut and coconut milk dominate the aroma completely, apart from a toilet soap kind of odour and some sourish graininess, which probably represents the quinoa. Very sugary taste, thin mouthfeel, very strong, sweet and bit sourish coconut taste, cloying in the finish. I found this even worse than that banana version, even if tasted from a half coconut shell, as it is apparently advertized.

Rik had it in Hoegaarden 21-8-2014. Had a few sips to taste it. Very sweet, tons of sugar in it. Small coconut hint. Disappointing! Like ranja with carbonation, very much sirup and slight cocos hints. Was served in a really cool, wooden coconut though.

I was curious about this one. Cloudy yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is mostly coconut, somewhat artificial. Medium to heavy sweetness. thin body, lively carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable.

Bottle from oriental supermarket in Bratislava. Hazy yellow color with huge white head. Strong aroma of coconut. Taste, sugar, tons of sugar, coconut. So far best from 3 Mongozo, but still bad.

Pours cloudy pame yellow with medium hite head. Strong coconut nose. Coconut aroma, maybe a bit artificial. Just a bit sourish. Didn’t expect much and didn’t get much.

Unclear pale yellow appearance, medium low head. Strong coconut aroma with some malts. Sweet, refreshing and definitely untypical fruit beer, but overall not outstanding.

THE worst beer I have ever tasted. Imagine a really bad lager (Schultenbrau or worse), blended with Bounty-candybars. Why oh why did someone think this was a good idea? It's mostly sold in Fairtrade shops but I can't see how that would work out, I feel I haven't made a fair trade while buying this. If you ever see this, leave it in store for the eco-hippies, let them have it...

Bottle from Dranken Geers in Gent. Smells like a sun oil with lots of coconut. Similar taste. I usually like fruit beers but this was not to my liking.

Lekker fris en dus goed om te drinken in de zomer als je voor deze smaak bent, maar mijn favoriet is het niet
