Das Kokosnussaroma ist in Ordnung. Der Geschmack ist wie gehabt unterirdisch, da viel zu süß geraten, irgendwie wie flüssiges Bounty. Hat mit Bier nix gemein.

no idea what quinua is , but it contains 20 % of that, and 15 coconut ... @ antwerps bierhuyske smell is lactose, coconut low carbo . taste reminds me - as a mindfuck- to shampoo. cause i’ve onley smelled coconut in shampoo, my mind tells me i’m drinking soap . this is SO weird ... than again, i must day i do like the smell ( and , appearently taste ) of coconut . but , again, as with all the mongozos, as a beer , this is bad...

Bottle, 330 ml, poured into a tumbler at home. ABV 3.6% Pours a pale white beer, extremely hazy . This looks like a banana juice. Less than one fonger of white head, average retention, some traces of lacing left on the glass. For a beer it doesn’t look so appealing. Lots of coconut on the aroma, along with lemon-like aromas. A bit artificial. Not a bad taste, provided you like coconuts and sweets that have coconut in them. Obviously lots of coconuts here and very sweet but on the finish there is some acidic lemon that tries hard to balance it a bit. Very thick body, quite carbonated, but less than a soft drink. It was good for one time, maybe it would pair good with a coconut based dessert.

Bottle thanks to Colin.... Gusher! It pours pale cloudy cream with no head. The nose is all about the sweet coconut, coconut butter and white sugar. The taste is sweet coconut, pineapple, pina colada, green banana and sugar with a sweetish finish. Lightish body and low carbonation. One-dimensional and pretty sweet. Very Pina Colada. Not actually as bad as I expected!

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, from Beermerchants, 31/07/13. Gushtastic cleansing Paul and myself in beery coconut goodness. Hazed mute yellow, akin to stale dishwasher liquids, thin white head clears to edge. Nose is coconut shampoo, pina colada, sweet sugars, light tropical notes, parfumed furniture polish. Taste comprises coconuts, sugars, artificial flavours with the coconut/tropicals. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet sweet finale. Too sweet - it is what it is !

Gedronken uit kokosnoot. Ziet eruit als vla. Smaakt als als s’en bounty. Geen bier.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2013 Poured in a half coconut. Gppd white head. I can smell the cocos from 5 meter. Very coconut. Tastes very coconut. Very sweet. I expected worse. Low carbo. Thin body and a watery texture.

Bottle at Bruce tasting. Cloudy pale cream with white head. Aroma of coconut, dove soap bars. Taste of coconut but like coconut scented soap. A bizarre beer (not really fair to call it a beer). Can’t decide if I hate this or not.

Bottle at Bruce’s - London. Thanks to Colin. A gusher! Pours hazy, pale white with a mild, filmy head. Smells like some kind of fruit juice, a bit of coconut. Medium sweet flavor, some oily coconut, a bit of lime, pineapple. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Tastes pretty much like a piña colada. Subtly artificial but not bad overall.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow that made me think of a watery wheat beer. Minimal head with fizzy white foam. The aroma is - surprise - coconut, albeit with a nasty touch of cardboard. Starts very sweet and isn’t bitter at all. It has a fruity body that comes close to white grape juice. The palate is pleasant: note watery and a lively carbonation. Very different and very refreshing but I wouldn’t make it my standard drink.
