Mild scents of hops and sweet pale malts, flowerish and fruity too. Clear pale golden body, slightly straw golden, with fluffy white head and bubbly lacings. Tastes hops, citrus, sweet malts, hints of caramel, sweet rice. Slightly grainy but alright to palate. Finishes with malty bread, honey notes, grass, hops, grains. Overall fresh and alright, and without gluten. 33cl bottle 5.0%abv b@alko.fi Moonyo, t@home Norway.

Bottle. A clear pale golden colour with a white head. An aroma of malt, grass, fruit and vegetables. The taste is medium sweet and light bitter. A medium body.

Heavily carbonated, exploded when I opened it although had been siting still for a very long time. Typical lager aroma, light corn, nothing to note here. Very pale yellow with a slightest greenish tint. Refreshing and almost slightly chewy flavour, dull at first leading into a sharpness and then a somewhat strange but characterful bitter taste reminiscent of honey. I’m not au’faix with gluten free beers so I don’t know where this would stand in that spectrum for me but although it’s not my style, and doesn’t particularly excite me this seem drinkable and it isn’t completely devoid of character like some of the reviews suggested to me. I drank it just a few degrees below room temperature though, undoubtedly a factor.

Pedestrian and watery. Aromas are a bit fruity. Typical Euro pale lager. Watery finish. Boring.

Bottle 33 cl from Le Grain d’Orge - Neuchâtel (CH). Golden blonde, fleeting white head. Aromas of grain, honey, vegetable, grass. The taste is sweetish, rather round, with grassy notes. The bitternees is not perhaps very cut out, but that remains correct, without more.

Alone at home. Clear goldblond colored beer with small white head and medium central carbonation. Malty granny aroma. Full rather sparkling palate. Finish is granny sweet bitter.

330 ml bottle bought at Belgian Beer International in Tsuen Wan.

Clear light golden yellow colour; Very thin head and residual white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Minimal lacing and notable small carbonation; Light smell of malt, grains, faint sugar and musty wet cardboard; Light sweet taste of very thin malt, with sourness, mustiness, light grains, wet cardboard, faint lemon and grass hints; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feels is an infected bottle with some sourness and mustiness. Apart from that it’s macro Pale body, thin maltyness, very low but testable grain taste. Low sweetness in few couple of sips but become cloying thereafter. Also wet cardboard, and low but weird bitter hops. Bad… Hoppiness is only thin lemon and grassy taste, with extract like poor bitterness for low-fi semi-finish; Wet after taste, cloying to throat and watery to mouth.

Comments: Being infected is bad enough, but take away that, this is just a poor gluten-free beer, with feel of a lowly macro, not much malt or even rice taste, weird bad-tasting hops, and cloying sweetness which stuck to my throat. Drain pours!

330ml Bottle. This pours a thin white head that soon dispels over a crystal clear amber body. Its aroma is faint and watery but has hints of grass and citrus. The taste is equally watery. Theres a metallic hint and a hint of citrus but thats about it- Wouldn’t believe this was 5% if I had not read the bottle. Save some cash and buy a bottle of perrier for the same flavour.

330ml bottle. Golden amber colour, foam white head and aroma of grain, rice & straw. Similar flavour with some citrus rind, metallic hop bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry metallic finish. OK.
