330 ml bottle, poured into a pilsner glass at home. ABV 5% Golden yellow colour on the body, crystal clear, with lots of activity in it. A bit more of a finger tall white head, soapy, collapsing quite fast but retaining a thin line of foam at the end. Interesting aroma with lots of malts and bread, but also kind of chocolate-y and vegetable like smell. Maybe the gluten free barley? Not much on the taste, quite a metallic flavour at first and then on the aftertaste comes the familiar gluten free taste, sorrt of medicinal, only quite faint thankfully. Thin body, light carbonation. Nice dryness on the palate. Overall, seeing on the label that it has won golden awards, I was expecting something much better, but even for the gluten free catecory is not that good.

Light gold, thick white head; grassy aroma; fairly standard malty lager; clean enough, but there’s nothing about the ’specialty grain’ which elevates it above the dull pale lager masses.

Drinkable beer... but nothing mind blowing. I could probably drink it all day long on a hot summer day. Carbonation doesn’t seem very extreme... but I may have bought an older bottle of this stuff. I’m trying to figure out what Mongozo means... sounds like something from a movie from the 1930’s

330 ml. bottle. Clear golden colour with a head that fades away too soon. Smell is mainly hops, like a classic pilsner should, with some toasted mal notes. Great. But... light body, not much carbonation and a taste that is mainly hops too, but leaning to the sweet side. Not bad, but I think it’s trying to be something between a mass market beer and a good not so much commercial one. And it fails. Gluten free.

Simple, dull but quite easy to drink and smooth one. Not rocket science and almost with no aroma but drinkable at all.

Clear golden colour with low head and thin body. Nose of hops. Taste of bitter and dry hops, mild grains, copper, metall, grass and cereals. Very dull and dusty beer experience, not really nice to drink.

Goldgelb, verhaltene Schaumbildung. Das Aroma ist käsig und strohig. Unangenehmer süßer Geschmack, der diese typische Note glutenfreier Biere hat. Nicht gut.

45ml sample at the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival. For a gluten free beer this was actually pretty drinkable. Still a bit of a weird taste up front but it finished with enough pilsnerish qualities that it was actually beer. Overall, not something I would get again, but it was the second best gluten free beer I've had so far and I didn't hate it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
