2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Quite yeasty and soft on the tongue. Soft citrusy flavours and a subtle sweetness, but otherwise not much happening, at least it was a little bit refreshing i suppose.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Chris_O bottlefest 2007. Very pale gold with slight haze and lasting white head. Blanche style aroma. Wit wheaty. Nice, lemon, some hop. I liked it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: APR 18, 2007 Bottled at Chris_O Fest March 2007. A straw coloured beer with whitish bubbles for a head. The aroma is lemony, wheaty, spicy and fizzy. The taste has lemony flavours and phenols. Much too highly carbonated. A bit odd but interesting flavours.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ June 09. Light blond with a moderate turbidity. Tiny yeast flakes, big fluffy head. Light hoppy but foremostly sweet, dense, a kind of flowery-herbal aroma. Strongly carbonated; thick, round body. Sweet, light sourish taste flowing into a strong hint of fruit candies. There is a hop touch.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Bottled) Slightly hazy yellow color with a medium, foamy and white head. Fruity-spicy aroma of ginger and apricots. Ginger-spicy, wheaty flavor, somewhat like the Swaf! brews. Not much malt or hops - or they’re hidden behind the exotic roots. Fortunately, so is most of the alcohol. Light to medium-bodied, neutral palate with foamy carbonation. Not at all cloying like the banana version, and even refreshing, if you’re a fan of gingery flavors.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2007 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale golden with some sediment and small creamy head. Dryish with vanilla and dough. Very light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Despite a touch of metal it’s actually refreshing, seemingly witbier based. Low bitterness. It was a surprise for me that I actually liked this beer - usually I frown upon Huyghe’s mega-sweet beers.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle at home. Fruity scent. Little head. Orange, sweet and strong alcohol flavour. Sugary, caramel flavour. Better than the banana one but still very suspect. Not my thing.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sweet and spicy scent, very different.. orange and hazy (floating particles) in colour with white head. Tastes of HP sauce..?? Fruity and sweet. Very odd. Pleasant though.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale gold with a huge frothy head. Lots of yeast floating in it which means the aroma is yeasty and leathery. I quite liked the taste; it was much better than the Mongozo banana. It’s basically beer ’n’ tonic: sour at first with a pleasant, unusual, non-hoppy dryness. It’s not bad.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
At Smokeless Joe’s. Grainy though it is a plant. Good yeast and a plant beer, farmhouse aroma, abundant yeast and a unique Belgium. Smooth though drying finish
