COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
SISTER NICO’S HABIT IS NAMED AFTER THE CAT OF OUR HOMEBREW CONTEST WINNERS ASHTON AND BETH IVEY. WHILE NOT EVERYONE IS A FAN OF NICO, WE ARE SURE YOU’LL LOVE THE BEER. WE ARE CALLING THIS A BELGIAN SESSION ALE. MALTY YET DRY, CRISP, AND REFRESHING, THIS BEER IS A DARK AMBER WITH A SOLID TAN HEAD. WE CHOSE THIS BEER BECAUSE OF ITS DRINKABILITY, AND WE THINK WE REALLY NAILED IT. ASHTON WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR RUNNING THE BREWHOUSE ON THIS BEER AND HE DID A GREAT JOB. WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO HAVE THIS BEER ON TAP AS ONE OF OUR TWO CONTEST WINNERS!

Clear copper colored pour with an off-white head. Interesting nose on this. Licorice and sage, a bit of root beer, and some sweet bread. A mild yeast aroma, light sugar, and some orange peel. The flavor is almost exactly like root beer. Spicy and sweet with some sage, licorice, sugar, and very mild citrus peel. A touch of toast, bread, and yeast.

Draught at the brewpub. Reddish amber color with some lace. Teasty, estery nose with some cherry. Earthy hops, bit yeast, caramel in the flavor, with a dirty, bitter finish. Dirty American yeasty character does it in.

An okay beer, really nothing special. An american-made belgian styled golden ale, light malts, heavy on the yeast, typical.
