Patas Pale is our ode to the American Pale Ale. Copper colored and bright with a clean, white head. We downplayed the hops just a bit to allow a bit of malt to shine through. The hops are all classic C’s; Columbus, Centennial, Cascade and Chinook. Hop aroma is not dominant, like an “IPA” – This is a great classic pale ale and at only 5.2% you can enjoy a couple anytime of the day.

Hoppy pale ale with nice aroma and flavors of citrus and some floral bitterness. Crisp and light. Nice clean and bright color with a white head. Easy to drink.

On tap @ Monkey Paw. Clear amber colored beer with white foam. Smells like tea and toasted grains. Slight butterscotch, lots of bread, and maybe some grass. Definitely some bitterness, but also kind of sweet and definitely malt forward. Husky, grainy flavor. A lot of tea, some bread, and plenty of toast. Mediocre at best.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a nice deep golden color with an off white head. The aroma has caramel, bread and some citrus. The flavor is heavy with citrus, florals and caramel. Heavy body with some alcohol notes. Weird for a lower gravity beer. Just ok in the end.

Draught at the Stone Liberty Station. Cloudy amber colour with a small off-white head. Sweetness, potato, mild piney hops and a touch of bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is sweetish malt and mild piney hops. Pretty easy. Thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the brewery - San Diego. Pours clear gold with a creamy, off-white head. Toasty pine in the nose, some dried orange, dry bread. Light sweet flavor with spicy pine, florals, dry toast, dirt. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry and dirty pine to finish with dried bread and flowers, orange rind. Not bad. Assertive bitterness here.

Clear light amber color with ivory sheen. Very nice floral, fruity hop, pale malt aromas. medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Most tasty floral, fruity hop flavors on a solid lightly sweet honey biscuit base brew--very good.
