Draft @ Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens, Escondido, CA. Pours a golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy peachy tropical fruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy peachy flavor. has a fruity malty hoppy peachy bitter finish.

Part of a sampler set at the brewpub. Nice light golden color with medium off white head. Nose was floral and fruity, pineapple came through. Taste was mildly sweet, medium bodied. Overall a nice refreshing beer, liked the pineapple.

The beer arrives from the tap with a pale, hazed, gold color that is topped by a thin, white head. The aroma smells of grain, dried hay and yes, pineapple. There is also notes of tangelo zest and a touch of cracker like malt.

The beer has a richer body than I was expecting it to, but it is still just down-right quaffable.. There is a big, bitter, biting hop character here that also has significant herbal ,pine and menthol edges to it. There is also an ample tropical fruit character that is the dominant flavor in this beer; specifics of lychee, pineapple and lots of floral citrus character are all easily noticeable.

This is a damn good Pale Ale, I could certainly drink a whole lot of this beer. The body is really what makes this beer, it is light an quaffable, but with enough residual malt substantialness to support and balance the expressive hop character that defines this beer.

A pretty good pale ale. It definitely keeps it interesting with the tropical flavor. Think a weak version of zombie dust.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, citrus, pine and malt. Smooth and bitter finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity hoppy. Bitter, mild citrusy and crisp hoppy, slight bitter and fruity into a medium dry finish.

Draught at Monkey Paw. Hazy, amber liquid with medium off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, lemon grass, light caramel and cereal. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of pineapple. A bit bland. Low to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice, sessionable.

This is a cool beer, had it on tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a large white head. The aroma is rich tropical fruit. The flavor is a smooth easy fruity pale with no bitterness, sweet, light candied....well pineapple. Nice.

On tap at obriens. Clear light amber pour with proper head and lace. Nose cross between ipa hop and pale ale flat sharpness. Taste more pale than ipa, but clear hop presence. Bit of grass/hay in back. Pilsner/lager bite in finish. Good, but not remarkable. Total is better than the sum of the parts.

On tap at brewery. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Floral fruity and grassy aroma and taste with a crisp dry straw flavored finish. A solid session beer.
