Thatcher in the Rye is a bitey little session beer with a lot of attitude. At 4.5%, this is truly a session beer, with a good rye kick that finishes nice and bitter. This is what beer should taste like. A hazy golden copper color with a white head that lingers a long time. A great food beer that you can drink all day long.

On tap at Urge in Poway as part of a Monkey Paw night. 9 brews on tap from them. And this is the last one! Damn. Surely this is the only brewery I’ve ever had every beer ticked. Strong amber, slight haze, strong off white head and lace. Nose is light yeast with pineapple highlights. Taste is wonky pale-ale sharpness. Caramel and hay. Wonky roast. Not the best to end with.
