Bottle @ Benzai. Hazy amber colour with no head. Smells like a barley wine, sweet, hay, fresh, hops, caramel. Tastes like its smells. Lovely sticky sweetness, some pine, round taste, some wood and cognac. Quite an amazing beer. Full body, soft and slightly silky, soft carbo.

Bottle (RBESG 2014): Amber coloured, hazy, small off-white foamy layer; wood, raisins and other dried fruits in the sweet nose; solid sweet flavour and pretty full bodied; some wood, some warming alcohol and some tartness in the otherwise sweet-fruity finish. Nice, but a bit too sweet...
