Bottle shared at RBWG poured a dark brown almost black color with aromas of roast, chocolate, booze, vanilla, and some earth. Flavors are the same, light on the palate for a stout, but still enjoyable. Thanks to whoever brought this one to share.

Bottle, thnx to LoFi for sending me this many years ago!! Pours a pitch black beer with a small tanned creamy head on top. Aroma of light smokey whisky, loads of molasses, roasted touches and some woody notes as well. Flavor is rather sweet, woody, caramel, light molasses and some boozy notes in the backend. Not really getting much typical aged notes, a lot of boozy is noticeable still. Very nice, even after all the years. Nice.

Rating this one on memory. The first of the blends, and they make things difficult from here. A very good beer.

Bottle at Dadsgiving! Pours a deep brown to black with a thin beige head. Soft warm chocolate, cocoa. Warm and spicy, smooth malt, toast and roast. Very smooth, nice bright cocoa notes coming through. Very lively for a big stout. Smooth vanilla and chocolate into the finish.
